Time for an update

It's been awhile since I've posted anything noteworthy on this blog so I thought I'd take a moment to do so. It hasn't been too much of an eventful month or so but I do have a couple fun pictures to post so I'll just go ahead with that:

Memorial Day weekend:
We packed up and headed to St. George for Memorial Day weekend this year. We decided it'd been a little too long since the whole family had been there. I spent the weekend shopping, well, kinda... I swear everything I tried on made me look 6 months pregnant... It was rather disconcerting... I did manage to find a cute dress to wear to Mel's wedding and Jillian got a new swimsuit, so I suppose we could call it mission accomplished. We also had a really fun Sunday dinner/mini family reunion on Sunday night with lots of good food and fun!

Love this one too! Grandma and Grandpa Biesinger

Doing what we do best: EATING!!

Johnson/Jensen Wedding:
What a fun day! Melissa looked stunning of course, and it was just a great day. I spent a lot of the day setting up for the reception and running around like a crazy person but that's okay. It was so fun to see everyone (including all the friends that came up from St. George, SO fun!). I can't wait for the next wedding!

Newlyweds coming out of the temple

"Second String bridesmaids" as Wendy called us.

A shout out to Dad

My dad's looking through his scrapbook right now and it's really fun to hear him talk about what was happening in all the pictures. Everything from raising his lambs (who were "just like little puppies") to talking about his dad who died about a year before I was born. I realized I've never really told you about my dad so I thought I'd take the opportunity to do so. My dad's the bomb, seriously. He's one of my biggest supports in life and seriously one of the coolest people I know. He's super talented in anything he attempts. I remember when I had my Subaru and the radiator needed to be replaced, he figured out how to do it on his own with instructions on the internet. He works so hard to support our family and does a great job doing it. Every time I have a problem with anything, he'll always be right there to help me out. He knows EVERYTHING (literally everything, if you have a question, call him. He'll answer it for you) about cars. Mom calls it "mad car disease." I'm so glad to have such a loving supporting pop. Love ya dad!

Snowmobiling

It's taken far too long for me to post this but it's finally time! Worth the wait right? Saturday nights are shaping up to be rather great lately. Last night, some great family friends of ours took us snowmobiling up in Park City. Their family owns all the land that that Canyon's snow resort is on, and about 20 snowmobiles. It's a great combination. I had so much fun! I'd never been snowmobiling before so I was a little nervous at first but gradually I was able to relax and just have tons of fun. It's so awesome to have such great friends! Thanks guys!

The fam at the top. Well, those of us who went anyway...

Plug your ears... yeah I'm special...

Our awesome friends, Perry and Maria. Love 'em!

Hugging. aw, love! :)

Getting ready to leave. Does Ian not look like a lego guy
to you guys? I think it's hilarious!

My first Jazz game

So, let me tell you why I freakin' LOVE my job! The owner of our store and the Orem store has season tickets to the Jazz, third row, center court. Right where all the action is. Well, this morning he gave the guys and I the tickets to tonight's game! It was tons of fun and I'll probably never be able to go to another Jazz game again because it'll never be the same! We got the VIP treatment, had prime rib for dinner in the VIP lounge, not to mention I got to stare at Kyle Korver from 10 feet away.... He is simply delicious!! The Jazz did end up losing 108-118 (ouch!) but it was still tons of fun! Thanks Steve and Karon for a great night at the game!!

Proof that I was, in fact, on the court (with the blurry guy's head behind me).

one month...

So, it's officially been one month since Ian and I became official. I know, not a really long time but I'm really excited about it. What a great month! I'm so happy to have him in my life (and most days still can't believe I've gotten so lucky!) and I grow more attached to him every single day. Happy Anniversary babe!

Our true personalities... :)

New obsession

Can you believe it? This one's actually not about Ian. I know, right? So weird. Anyway, I was reminded after watching American Idol tonight (I usually don't but it was just on tonight so I did...) how much I freaking love David Cook. His album's gone platinum in three months and I can totally see why! These two songs are probably my faves of the ones I've heard. Maybe American Idol isn't glorified karaoke after all...

Happy birthday sissy!

Today is March 31 which means, it's little sister's birthday! Yay! She's a whole 19 years old today. That's pretty insane, not gonna lie. Too bad she doesn't answer her phone anymore so I can't even wish her a happy birthday... What a punk! Anyway, Megs I love ya and I hope you had a great day!
